Food Crisis 2020-2021

One and a half years and 25 million pounds of food later, and we are still in a food crisis. The global recession that started due to the lockdown to mitigate the spread of the virus has drastically increased the demand for emergency food. This has especially impacted the immigrant community.

Despite the logistical challenges of historic proportions with which the food supply has changed and many different disruptions, Masbia Relief mobilized and distributed 500% more food and is still going strong.
